Spending Time in Their Shoes: Spiritual Care with the Elderly and Those Dealing with Dementia

In this webinar, we will seek to get into the hearts and minds of the elderly we serve and explore what influences their thoughts and actions.  We will also discuss how we can best walk with them on the last phase of their life’s journey, with special attention
being paid to their spiritual needs.

Learning Objectives: At the completion of this education presentation, the participants will:

1.     Articulate the most helpful attitude we can bring to our ministry with the elderly and those with dementia.
2.     Learn what motivates the elderly and those with dementia
3.     List at least two practical interventions to use in our ministry and dealings with the elderly and those with dementia.
